Las Vegas is now home to 10 AAA Five Diamond resorts, more than any other city in the country, AAA Travel announced Monday.
Aria and Mandarin Oriental are the latest additions to the list.
Aria and Mandarin Oriental received the prestigious award less than a year after opening. Both opened at MGM Resorts International’s $8.5 billion CityCenter project last December.
The CityCenter hotels join repeat winners Wynn Las Vegas, Encore, Palazzo, Venetian, Skylofts at MGM Grand, Four Seasons, Bellagio and the shuttered Ritz-Carlton at Lake Las Vegas, which will soon be taken over by Dolce Hotels & Resorts.
The Bellagio celebrated a milestone this year with its 10th consecutive Five Diamond award, while the Four Seasons now has 12 in a row.
